I create analytics file, tailored to client’s business. It gets updated once in a week and purpose of it is to make data useful and easy to understand. I teach my clients how to use selected reports in the process of making strategy decisions.

For example, you certainly want to know how your different traffic channels perform and what is the cost of one customer. If you understand that and if you know conversion rates of the pages in the sales funnel, then you’ll be able to understand ratio between sales increase for specific percent and investment increase, and eventually to make monthly, quarterly and yearly goals.

Or, even more specific. If you want to understand how much you’re able to bid in “cost per click” then first you need to understand how much you “earn per click”.

Basically, I find this part as very important and try to make it as simple for the client as possible.
